Project Engineer – Full Flight Simulator

TXT Group is looking for a Project Engineer to join our team in Munich for a major aerospace program focused on the development of a Full Flight Simulator for a regional turboprop aircraft. The selected candidate will have end-to-end responsibility for the design, development, integration, and qualification of the simulator, working in close collaboration with the selected manufacturer and ensuring full compliance with regulatory and operational standards. Main Responsibilities Manage the complete lifecycle of the simulator, from concept to operational deployment. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and review technical specifications. Coordinate the preparation and delivery of the comprehensive simulator data package required by the manufacturer. Lead simulator testing and validation activities, defining protocols to ensure accuracy, reliability, and system performance. Ensure compliance with EASA CS-FSTD and FAA Part 60 requirements, including the preparation and maintenance of qualification documentation and liaison with regulatory authorities. Plan and monitor the simulator development process, balancing quality, budget, and delivery milestones. Requirements Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aeronautical, Mechanical, Computer Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience in Full Flight Simulator development. Strong understanding of aircraft systems, flight physics, and aerodynamics, applied to flight simulation. Knowledge of regulatory standards for flight simulators (EASA CS-FSTD, FAA Part 60). Project management skills with accountability for achieving program objectives within defined scope, schedule, and budget. Proficiency in MS Office for producing technical documentation. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of turboprop aircraft performance characteristics. Experience in roles accountable for regulatory compliance and certification of Full Flight Simulators. Soft skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with customers and suppliers.
