Regional Accounting Manager

We are implementing a Accounting Organization concept to manage accounting operations up to financial and statutory accounts for a defined geographical scope. This role ensures compliance with regulations and corporate standards while driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee general accounting and statutory reporting for multiple entities.
• Ensure accuracy and timeliness of month-end close, reconciliations, and financial data.
• Supervise allocations, accruals, provisions, and urgent payments in coordination with Controlling, Tax, and Treasury.
• Lead and organize the team to optimize country-specific and cross-country processes.
• Drive standardization and continuous improvement of accounting operations.
• Prepare statutory accounts and financial reporting in line with policy.
• Collaborate with Finance Business Process Owners and other stakeholders to enhance processes and systems.

Profile

• Extensive experience in finance operations management, ideally in Shared Services Center environments.
• Strong leadership, collaboration, and adaptability skills.
• High attention to detail and continuous improvement mindset.
• Knowledge of SAP Finance, Microsoft Office, RPAs, Power Automate, and Power BI.
• Master's degree in Accountancy/ Finance; 15+ years experience preferred, IRFS.
• Fluent in English plus one major European language (German, French, Spanish).
