I am partnering with an established

international MedTech manufacturer

to appoint an

R&D Manager

for a critical site-based leadership role. The company develops

minimally invasive cardiovascular devices

and operates in a highly regulated, innovation-driven environment. This is a

hands-on leadership position

with real influence across product development, validation, and transfer into manufacturing. You will sit at the intersection of

R&D, Quality, Regulatory, and Production , ensuring products are robust, compliant, and production-ready.

The Role at a Glance: • Lead and develop a cross-functional R&D team • Own Design Control and Validation (ISO 13485, ISO 14971) • Drive V&V and IQ/OQ/PQ activities • Support design transfer and scale-up into manufacturing • Stay close to the floor: lab, cleanroom, assembly, troubleshooting • Work with advanced technologies: metal & laser processes, polymers, adhesives, regulated assembly

What They’re Looking For: • Strong R&D background in regulated medical devices • Proven Design Control and validation experience • Hands-on, pragmatic engineering mindset • Confident cross-functional leader, comfortable in audits • Fluent German and English
