About The Role

This is a stellar opportunity to become a financial champion, analysing data to fuel profit growth and taking the reins of our economic health. With your insights, we’ll streamline costs, bolster financial fortitude and map out a prosperous future.

Your responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate category/sales plans, forecasts, outlooks, and strategic views.
• Provide market analysis to understand and explain significant category/customer performance variations.
• Ensure a seat at the decision‑making table and provide high‑caliber advice for all strategic initiatives.
• Support and challenge category assumptions when analysing and implementing business growth opportunities.
• Drive and understand all aspects of the Commercial P&L and liaise between category management and supply finance.
• Develop understanding of all category/customer trade investment strategies.
• Support Key Account Managers with tools and information for year‑end negotiations.
• Manage functionality, usage, and continuous improvement of financial tools, processes and procedures.
• Maintain positive interaction with sales departments for effective relationships.
• Control trade terms, manage budgeting, and provide ROI analysis of promotional activities.

The experience we're looking for

Education

• Must haves: Minimum bachelor’s degree in business administration.
• Nice to have: Major in Finance.

Work Experience

• Must haves: 3‑5 years of experience in Finance/Commercial Controlling.
• Nice to have: Experience in a fast‑moving FMCG industry – branded consumer goods companies.

Functional Skills

• Must haves: Strong IT & financial systems experience, strong analytical skills, strong commercial understanding, good to advanced accounting knowledge, strong MS Excel knowledge.
• Nice to have: Power BI knowledge, SAP knowledge.

Personal skills

• Must haves: Highly analytical self‑starter, process‑driven and self‑motivated, structured thinker, problem solver, strong communicator, core values alignment, good team player.
• Nice to have: International mobility.

Language skills

• Must haves: Excellent English – present and negotiate in English.
• Nice to have: German or willingness to learn.

Career Perspective

• Lateral Move: Controller roles within region or internationally (e.g., Supply, Marketing or CFC).
• Promotion: Senior Controller roles within region or internationally.
