Senior Accountant (mfd)

Your tasks

Prepare monthly financial statements VAT filings and annual accounts in accordance with German GAAP (HGB)
Confident use of DATEV and contributing to system implementations
Lead core operational finance processes such as accruals reconciliations accounts payable / receivable and monthly close routines.
Performing account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
Improve document and automate accounting workflows in collaboration with our Product and Operations teams.
Point of contact for internal teams as well as external stakeholders and suppliers

Your Role

As a S enior Accountant you will take ownership of our accounting landscape and lay the foundation for scalable high-quality financial operations. You will drive the internalization of our accounting processes strengthen our reporting accuracy and ensure our systems grow in line with our expanding business.

Qualifications

At least 5 years of professional experience in accounting

Deep knowledge of DATEV and strong proficiency in MS Excel

Strong analytical skills high attention to detail and a structured independent and flexible way of working

Professional working proficiency in German and good English skills (B2 or higher) for internal communication.

A proactive mindset and enthusiasm for building efficient systems and processes.
