Senior Accountant - Workday Finacnials

Our client is looking for a Senior Accountant with strong Workday Financials experience. This is a hands‑on role where you will manage day‑to‑day accounting operations while taking ownership of key financial processes. You will have the opportunity to act independently, ensuring accurate reporting, smooth transactional workflows, and effective collaboration across finance and business teams. This role is ideal for a motivated accountant who thrives on responsibility, enjoys working with ERP systems, and is keen to contribute to process improvements.

Your Responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Prepare and review financial statements, reconciliations, and reports
• Use Workday Financials for transaction processing, reporting, and analysis
• Support month‑end and year‑end close processes
• Collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate and timely financial data
• Identify and implement process improvements and ERP best practices
• Work independently to manage your responsibilities and take ownership of tasks

Desired Qualifications

• Proven experience as an accountant, with hands‑on Workday Financials experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Experience in day‑to‑day transactional accounting and financial reporting
• Ability to act independently and take ownership of responsibilities
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication skills in English; German is a plus
