Senior Backend Engineer C++(all genders)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Engineer to contribute to building state‑of‑the‑art mission control systems, using data and video feeds for weapon commands and engagement rules.

Responsibilities

• Coding – developing the backend of our software.
• Core testing – both software and mission functionality and reliability.
• Building and implementing APIs and SDK integration, and expanding existing software.
• Expanding current architecture and implementing STANAG requirements.
• Perform testing for mission simulation.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending and implementing innovations to improve our products and processes.
• Dive deep into the details to identify, understand, and solve difficult technical problems.
• Constantly challenge requirements to determine what adds value and what does not.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Advanced experience in C++ development; Rust is a plus.
• Knowledge of autopilot, flight control systems, or similar systems is a great bonus.
• Relevant industry experience in automotive, sensors, aerospace, or any domain where real‑world devices are connected to software.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Adaptability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic startup environment with a drive for innovation and continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel as required.
