Senior Change Manager

We are working with a leading European HR and technology services organisation who are embarking on a multi-country organisational transformation programme driven by the integration of MPS and BPO teams across Europe.

They require a

Senior Change Management Consultant (Freelance)

to join them on an initial 3–6 month engagement (3 days per week). This role will focus on leading the end-to-end Change Management workstream across Germany and Belgium (primary), with additional impact in the Netherlands and Spain, ensuring alignment, adoption, and cultural integration throughout the programme.

Key Responsibilities: • Design and own the structured change strategy for the MPS & BPO integration programme • Lead change initiatives across multiple workstreams including Tooling & Processes, HR, CO/FI, and Governance • Drive stakeholder alignment across Germany and Belgium, managing complex cross-country dynamics • Address cultural resistance and behavioural shifts through targeted interventions • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication and engagement plan • Facilitate leadership workshops and alignment sessions • Monitor adoption through pulse checks, resistance tracking, and feedback loops • Define training and readiness requirements across impacted teams • Work closely with programme leadership to shape governance and operating model clarity

Required Skills & Qualifications: • 5+ years of senior Change Management experience within large transformation or integration programmes • Proven track record leading organisational change across multiple countries • Strong international stakeholder management capability • Experience working within IT or technology-driven environments (critical requirement) • Fluent in English and German (mandatory) • Demonstrated expertise designing and executing communication strategies • Strong workshop facilitation and leadership engagement skills • High cultural intelligence and adaptability across European environments • Freelance / independent consultant status
