We’re Hiring: Compliance Engineer – Electrical & Electronic Equipment

We are looking for a Compliance Engineer with a strong focus on sustainability and product-related regulations to join our team in Hinwil. In this role, you will ensure that our electrical and electronic products meet all applicable environmental and material compliance requirements worldwide.

• Ensure compliance with key sustainability-related regulations , including: RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances), REACH Regulation, SCIP Database (ECHA), POP Regulation (Persistent Organic Pollutants), Conflict Minerals Regulations, WEEE Directive (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment), PFAS Regulations
• Monitor and analyze new and evolving product-related regulations and standards to ensure proactive compliance.
• Support the Material Compliance category within the company’s compliance radar.
• Manage data and source intelligence for materials and substances, maintaining up-to-date compliance databases.
• Lead ongoing product compliance campaigns across business units.
• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product compliance, assisting with regulatory cases related to assigned standards.

Contribute to the definition and continuous improvement of the company’s Product Compliance Framework, including compliance radar, profiles, and reporting.

Participate in the design, implementation, and maintenance of product compliance processes, including templates, forms, and guidelines, in collaboration with cross‑functional departments.

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification (e.g., HES, EPF, or technical diploma with additional training).
• Proven experience in electrical project management or compliance engineering .
• Strong ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage several projects simultaneously.
• Rigorous, autonomous, and highly organized, with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
