A day in a life of a Senior Digital Application Engineer

• Deploy AI/ML models and solution packages to enhance process control, as well as optimize predictive maintenance and quality processes.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams, embed intelligence into manufacturing lines to drive innovation and efficiency.
• Advance our smart factory initiatives by integrating AI‑driven intelligence and enabling seamless OT/IT integration.
• Ensure data governance and compliance with food safety and cybersecurity standards.
• Translate business needs into technical solutions using cloud‑native tools, while also scouting for external solution partners to enhance our capabilities.

What Will Make You Successful

• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience in data engineering or AI/ML within manufacturing environments.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and cloud platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with AI platforms and industrial data systems.
• Project management, teamwork and stakeholder management skills, strong communication.
• Full proficiency in English – other languages are a plus.
