Senior IT Auditor

One of our global insurance clients is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join its international audit team based in Cologne. This is an exciting opportunity to gain broad exposure across the business while deepening your expertise in IT audit, risk management, and controls within a highly collaborative and forward‑thinking environment.

What You’ll Do

• Conduct local and global audits focused on IT risks, controls, and processes.
• Collaborate with audit managers to define scope, assess risks, and apply data‑driven audit techniques.
• Take ownership of audit work, applying sound judgment and presenting clear findings.
• Build strong relationships across business units and regions, contributing to continuous improvement.
• Share your expertise and learn from a diverse international audit community.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Ideally, a CISA or CISM certification.
• 5+ years’ experience in IT audit, risk management, or compliance within insurance or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of IT controls, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
