About position
This is not a typical recruitment role.
As Senior Lead, Mass Hiring (AI/GenAI Tutors) at Toloka AI, you will own the mission-critical task of building and scaling a top-tier global pool of domain experts to train next-generation GenAI, AI, and LLM models. You’ll lead demand planning, design high-volume hiring strategies, and optimize pipelines with data-driven precision-balancing cost, speed, and quality to deliver at scale.This is a role for a proven product and operations leader who thrives in high-impact, fast-paced environments, managing multi-layered teams while integrating automation, AI tools, and innovation. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across the business to align hiring goals with strategic priorities, ensuring every candidate journey strengthens Toloka’s global brand.
Responsibilities
Acquisition Demand Planning & Triage – Lead demand planning & execution to build and scale a high-caliber pool of domain experts and generalists for GenAI/AI/LLM model training.
High-Volume Hiring Execution – Design, implement, and continuously optimize large-scale recruitment strategies, including sourcing, screening, and qualifying at scale.
Pipeline Optimization – Drive data-driven improvements across hiring funnels, ensuring efficiency and quality at every stage (cost, speed, conversion rates).
Team Leadership & Scaling – Manage and grow a diverse, multi-layered team by setting strategic direction, tracking performance, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Innovation & Future-Proofing – Evolve the mass hiring function by integrating automation, AI tools, and new operating models.
Cross-Functional Collaboration – Partner with stakeholders across the organization to align on hiring needs, define realistic targets, and establish strong feedback loops.
Compliance & Candidate Experience – Ensure adherence to labor laws and hiring standards while delivering a seamless, positive candidate journey that strengthens the Toloka brand.
Required Skills & Experience
Proven track record (5+ years) leading high-volume, data-driven operations, ideally in mass recruitment or talent acquisition.
Strong ability to context switch between priorities-balancing strategic vision with hands-on execution.
Demonstrated expertise in running a metrics-driven business, pipeline analytics, and process optimization.
Experience managing and scaling large teams, with strong coaching and performance management skills.
Excellent stakeholder management, interpersonal, and strategic planning abilities.
Adaptable and resilient in fast-paced, high-expectations, constantly evolving environments.
Nice to have
Familiarity with ATS platforms, job boards, and recruitment technologies.
Experience recruiting freelancers and contractors.
Background or exposure to AI/GenAI industries.
