Job Summary

The Senior MuleSoft Integration Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying scalable APIs and integration solutions using MuleSoft. This role supports critical business processes by ensuring secure, high-performance connectivity across enterprise systems, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust integration architectures.

Key Responsibilities & Deliverables:

• Design, develop, and deploy MuleSoft APIs, integrations, and flows that support critical business processes
• Apply full lifecycle development practices including requirement analysis, solution design, coding, testing, deployment, and ongoing support
• Ensure integrations are scalable, secure, and aligned with enterprise architecture standards
• Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust integration solutions
• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of MuleSoft applications
• Manage CI/CD pipelines for MuleSoft projects and ensure smooth deployments across environments
• Document technical designs, API specifications, and support procedures
• Mentor junior developers and share best practices within the integration team

Required Skills & Competencies:

• 5–7+ years of hands-on development experience with MuleSoft (Mule 4 preferred)
• Strong knowledge of API-led connectivity and MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (API Manager, Runtime Manager, Exchange, etc.)
• Proven experience across the full software development lifecycle requirements, design, development, testing, deployment, and support
• Expertise in RESTful APIs, SOAP, JSON, XML, RAML, and related integration standards
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar)
• Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex integration issues
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate across business and IT teams

Nice to have:

• MuleSoft certification (MuleSoft Certified Developer – Level 1 or higher)
• Experience with Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP/CRM integrations
• Knowledge of security standards (OAuth, SAML, JWT, TLS)
• Background in Agile delivery (Scrum or SAFe)
