Project Developer Role (Solar/Wind/Battery Storage)

My Client is a renewable energy project developer, through sustainable investments and hands‑on project development — currently active in Germany, Finland, and Canada.

Responsibilities

Managing solar, wind, and/or battery storage projects up to the construction phase.
Conducting site visits, building strong relationships, and negotiating agreements with landowners, tenants, municipalities, and local authorities.
Supporting and coordinating all permitting processes.
Establishing long‑term, trust‑based relationships with landowners and engaging with them as equals.
Presenting and promoting projects to municipal officials and political stakeholders.
Collaborating closely with our legal, communications, and external partners to prepare project documentation for permitting.

Qualifications

Completed technical or commercial degree/training — e.g., in energy technology, business administration, industrial engineering, renewable energy, or urban planning.
Ideally 5+ years of experience in PV and/or wind project development; initial experience with battery storage is a plus.
Confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and the ability to adapt to different stakeholders.
Fluent in German and comfortable working independently with a sense of ownership.
Familiar with common project management methods and proficient in MS Office; experience with project management tools is an advantage.
Organized, analytical, and a strong team player.
Class B driver’s license and willingness to travel for site visits and meetings.
