Senior Project Finance Manager

Project Finance Senior Manager | Managing Director, MAM Gruppe

In this role, you will lead the structuring and execution of complex, non‑recourse project financings across diverse sectors, managing transactions valued in the billions. You will coordinate international financing processes, engage with banks and financial institutions, and play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company’s investment portfolio. In a fast‑paced, global environment, you will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support ambitious growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently structure and secure international project financings.
• Lead negotiations with lenders, financial institutions, and advisors.
• Work with legal counsel to prepare and finalize financing agreements.
• Review and enhance project contracts to ensure financing viability.
• Oversee due diligence efforts (technical, legal, financial) and develop risk mitigation plans with external advisors.
• Collaborate closely with cross‑functional internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Manage and validate complex financial models, including sensitivity analyses.
• Monitor market trends and contribute to the development of innovative financing solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in project finance or related fields.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in due diligence, risk evaluation, and contract negotiation.
• Proven leadership experience managing deal teams and mentoring junior staff.
• Excellent English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Willingness to travel and work effectively in international, multicultural teams.
