YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design DNA-encoded library (DEL) campaigns (binder first approaches) to identify lead molecules as starting points for drug discovery campaigns including novel modalities
- Plan and execute DEL lead‑finding campaigns according to project demand (structure‑based design of protein, reagents and tool compounds, planning and execution of DEL selections, data analysis and hit selection, hit validation)
- Design, optimise, execute experiments and studies for early discovery programmes beyond DELs and interpret/analise data in collaboration and alignment with internal stakeholders and external partners
- Support the development of an innovative early drug discovery portfolio in collaboration with the drug discovery community leveraging cutting‑edge high‑throughput biology technologies
- Constantly scout the technology landscape in the field and explore novel methodologies
- Engage in the world‑wide community and in academic collaborations to constantly move frontiers in High Throughput Biology
WHO YOU ARE
- University degree in biochemistry/chemistry/biology or related fields; PhD, MD or equivalent with industry experience is a plus
- Understanding the drug discovery process ideally with hands‑on experience at different pre‑clinical stages
- Deep understanding of the structural and functional basis of molecular drug‑target interactions
- Expertise and experience in design and execution of DNA‑encoded library screening campaigns, subsequent data analysis, biophysical hit characterization, as well as additional high‑throughput biology applications (e.g. encoded display technologies)
- Proven track record in interdisciplinary project work (membership/leadership)
- Excellent networking and communication skills
- Team player with good communication and presentation skills to deliver scientific and technical data in a consistent and clear manner
- High degree of proactivity, self‑organisation, and learning agility
- Fluent in English and basic German skills

We ensure your financial stability with a competitive salary between €77,300 and €93,800 per year (full‑time) plus a variable component. Your compensation is based on your qualifications, skills, and professional experience.
