About the Group Finance & Tax Team

We are Group Finance & Tax, a diverse, highly skilled team of more than 70 colleagues based in Metzingen. We continuously evolve our accounting, tax and treasury processes and actively contribute to the successful execution of the Group’s strategy.

What you can expect

End‑to‑End Ownership of Tax Reporting & Accounting

You own the tax reporting narrative of the Group, ensuring that current and deferred taxes, ETR and Pillar Two are translated into transparent, consistent and audit‑ready disclosures under IFRS and HGB. You actively shape how the Group’s tax position is reflected in the consolidated financial statements and understood by key stakeholders.

Cross‑Functional Coordination & Process Leadership

You connect tax reporting, accounting and compliance through robust processes, reliable data flows and effective controls, strengthening the foundations of the Group’s tax result. By driving digitalisation and process improvements you enhance quality, efficiency and scalability across the tax function. You act as an interface to other tax competence areas such as Transfer Pricing, VAT and Wage Tax, ensuring alignment and consistency.

Functional Leadership & Capability Building

You lead through expertise and influence, acting as a trusted sparring partner to the Global Head of Tax on governance topics and strategic initiatives. Through functional leadership and knowledge sharing you help continuously elevate tax capabilities across the global Finance & Tax community.

Your profile

Professional & Technical Background

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Tax Law or a comparable qualification
German Tax qualification (Steuerberater/in) successfully completed
10+ years of professional experience in Group Tax, international in‑house tax functions or Big4 Tax / Audit
Strong expertise in IFRS and HGB with a clear focus on tax reporting and accounting
Deep knowledge of German Corporate Income Tax including tax returns and audits
Solid understanding of Pillar Two regulations and global minimum taxation concepts
Fluency in English and native‑level German skills (written and spoken)

Ways of Working & Mindset

Strong analytical skills combined with a pragmatic, solution‑oriented mindset
Confidence to act as a senior sparring partner to leadership and stakeholders
Ability to structure complexity and translate technical tax matters into clear messages
Experience working with SAP and tax reporting tools; openness to digital innovation
