Senior UIUX Designer (fmx) Product & Experience

Location

Hybrid Cologne (Rheinauhafen) – 3 days per week in the office, 2 days remote (Tue and Thu).

Responsibilities

• Discover & define – talk to users, dig into metrics and run usability tests to uncover real pains.
• Frame scenarios and success metrics that matter (MTTR, alert fatigue, NPS).
• Design & develop – craft low‑to‑high fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes in your preferred tool.
• Evolve and govern alerts across‑platform design system (Web, Mobile).
• Balance clarity and density in data‑rich dashboards and timeline views.
• Deliver & iterate – hand off pixel‑perfect specs and pair with engineers in GitHub & Storybook.
• Validate releases with A/B tests and continuous user feedback loops.
• Champion accessibility (WCAG 2.1 AA) and performance best practices.

Requirements

• 3 years designing production SaaS interfaces end‑to‑end.
• Portfolio that proves user‑centric thinking, visual craft and shipped impact.
• Mastery of Figma (auto‑layout, variants, tokens) and basic motion / animation.
• Hands‑on with design systems, component libraries and responsive layouts.
• Fluency in English (our working language); German is a bonus.
• Solid grasp of HTML / CSS limits and possibilities – enough to speak dev.

Bonus points

• Designed for technical audiences (DevOps, SRE, cloud engineers).
• Ran quantitative research (surveys, funnel analytics) or A/B experiments.
• Experience with real‑time data products.
