Role: ServiceNow Lead Developer
Contract: 12 month duration (extension available)
Location: Remote

We are seeking a ServiceNow Lead Developer with strong expertise in CSM to join our growing team. In this role, you will not only be hands-on in designing, developing, and implementing ServiceNow CSM solutions but also serve as a technical leader for a small team of developers. You will guide best practices, ensure quality delivery, and foster collaboration to achieve business goals.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of ServiceNow CSM solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements and platform best practices.
  • Serve as the technical point of contact for CSM-related initiatives, advising stakeholders on solution design and platform capabilities.
  • Provide hands-on development for complex configurations, scripting, and integrations within the CSM module.
  • Oversee and mentor a small team of ServiceNow developers, promoting skill growth, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Collaborate closely with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
  • Establish and enforce coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes within the team.
  • Support platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning with a focus on CSM functionalities.
  • Stay current with the ServiceNow ecosystem, particularly enhancements related to CSM, and make recommendations for adoption.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a ServiceNow Developer, with a strong focus on CSM.
  • Hands-on expertise in configuring and customizing CSM applications, workflows, case management, portals, and integrations.
  • Solid understanding of ServiceNow scripting (GlideScript, JavaScript, Flow Designer, etc.) and platform configuration.
  • Experience leading or mentoring small teams of developers in a collaborative environment.
  • Strong soft skills: excellent communication, active listening, and the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on delivery.
  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD, CSM specialty) are highly desirable.
