Our cross‑discipline team builds and runs a leading‑edge platform for the international, highly sensitive emergency logistics sector. High‑quality software development is essential for our success.

Your key responsibilities

Build across the full stack—from backend APIs to mobile and web frontend user interfaces—to deliver end‑to‑end solutions based on user requirements and objectives.
Plan, architect, and implement new features in our NestJS (Node) backend written in TypeScript, and in our React Native (Expo) front‑end apps.
Participate in architecture and feature decisions for the apps.
Influence the development roadmap, prioritize tasks, and iterate with a cross‑functional team.
Propose and drive ideas to improve our product.
Connect the dots independently, filling gaps as needed.
Pay close attention to detail, breaking complex tasks into manageable chunks.
Seek a balanced approach to software development—usability, maintainability, extensibility, accuracy, reliability, and security.
Extend and maintain our GraphQL API.
Integrate third‑party services and APIs into our system.
Partner with product owners to deliver high‑quality UI and UX.
Build reusable, scalable, and reliable software solutions.
Produce technical documentation and contribute to internal knowledge bases.

Qualifications

3+ years of relevant experience as a Full‑Stack Software Engineer, building scalable back‑ends (Python, Node.js, Ruby, Go) and front‑end apps (React/React Native or similar).
Experience in functional, object‑oriented, and other programming paradigms, with appropriate use of software patterns.
B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
Additional experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, Expo.io, mobile apps, CI/CD, DevOps, Docker, and functional approaches in React using Hooks.
Experience as a software architect (databases, APIs, service architectures) with deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL databases, Linux/Unix, cloud services (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud), Git workflows, and DevOps.
Knowledge of security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
Experience with Agile software development techniques and tools.
Strong debugging, testing, and problem‑solving skills.
Professional written and verbal fluency in English; German fluency is a plus but not required.
