Software Engineer

Software Engineer – Warehouse Control Systems (C#/.NET)Location: Home office, Germany. Our customer, a leading intralogistics provider is searching for reinforcements within their software team to support the ongoing development of their WCS/MFC software. You will be designing and building Warehouse Control System (WCS) software using C#/.NET to control automated material-handling equipment and support high-performance warehouse operations. Your day to day tasks:Develop and maintain WCS modules and real-time services using C#/.NET.Integrate with WMS/ERP systems and automation equipment (conveyors, AS/RS, AutoStore, robots, PLCs).Implement communication interfaces (REST, TCP/IP, message queues).Troubleshoot and support production systems during deployment and operation.Contribute to system architecture, performance tuning, and code quality. Your background:Strong proficiency in C#/.NET (others will be considered) and SQL databases.Experience with warehouse automation, WCS, or industrial control systems is essential.Understanding of real-time or near-real-time applications.Good problem-solving and communication skills. Nice to HaveA university education in Mathematics or Computer Science.Experience with DevOps, microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, or cloud platforms.Knowledge of robotics, AutoStore, MHE, or other industry related equipment.
