Software Engineer - OpenData (Remote)

The Role

Veeva OpenData Commercial provides healthcare reference data worldwide. It supports commercial sales execution, compliance, and business analytics. As part of our Engineering team, you will drive impactful changes, delivering the tools to build the global data core for life sciences in 100+ countries. What You'll Do

• Develop and optimize core algorithms


• Build data processing automations


• Develop data tools (libraries, APIs) to align data operations and ensure data quality


• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience developing software with a focus on high-performance algorithms


• Advanced proficiency in Java, including multi-threading, performance tuning, and build systems (Gradle / Maven)


• Excellent skills in SQL and Dataframe manipulation

• Familiarity working with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP)


• Large scale data processing experience
