Software Engineer – Simulation UI Systems (f/m/d)

For our long-standing business partner AIRBUS Defence and Space, we are looking for you as a new employee of Tintschl Technik GmbH.

The position holder (f/m/d) works as Software Engineer – Simulation UI Systems.

Your Tasks

• Communicate with stakeholders and customers to gather and understand requirements
• Define and architect the software foundation for simulation control stations, instructor operating stations and flight training debriefing stations
• Define and design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces and UI/UX concepts
• Design, develop, test and maintain software with C++ and Qt/QML, ensuring clean, efficient and maintainable code following best practices
• Analyze and debug software issues and fix bugs
• Identify and address technical risks and implement mitigation strategies
• Participate in planning, stand-up, review and retrospective meetings according to software development methodology
• Participate in code reviews and ensure compliance with coding standards
• Ensure scalable, maintainable system architecture and integration with other systems

Your Profile

• Master’s degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a comparable qualification
• At least 5 years of experience in IT / information systems
• Deep knowledge of C++ and Qt/QML (mandatory)
• Simulation background is an advantage
• Fluent German (negotiation level, mandatory) and English (negotiation level)
