Your Responsibilities

• Develop and implement purchasing and supplier strategies for assigned categories (e.g. belts/ropes, metalworking, raw material purchasing, turning, milling, laser cutting, bending, forging).
• Analyze and monitor global procurement markets, identify and evaluate suppliers, and drive supplier development in close collaboration with Quality Management and R&D.
• Conduct price, framework, and delivery negotiations to secure best-in-class conditions and sustainable partnerships.
• Perform end-to-end supply chain and TCO analyses, optimize goods flows, and minimize supply risks.
• Actively contribute to product development and redesign projects with a focus on cost efficiency and time-to-market.
• Maintain material master data in the ERP system and prepare KPI-based analyses and reports to identify improvement opportunities.
• Identify technological trends in procurement and actively contribute ideas for process optimization and digital transformation.

Your Profile

• Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification with a focus on Purchasing or Supply Chain Management
• Several years of professional experience in strategic purchasing, ideally in an international industrial environment
• Excellent ERP system skills and advanced MS Office proficiency
• Experience with Advanced Planning Tools (APT) is a plus
• Strong negotiation skills in both national and international contexts
• Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional languages are an advantage
• Analytical, structured, and proactive working style with a strong sense of responsibility
• Excellent communication skills, assertiveness, and ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams
