This role will serve as the Strategic Sourcing Manager (f/m/d) — Individual Contributor responsible for Direct Materials feeding manufacturing sites in the EMEA Region. The position is part of the Integrated Supply Chain Organization and will be located onsite in BK, Germany, under the leadership of the Sr. Strategic Sourcing Manager, EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Regional Sourcing Strategy Execution (40%) : Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, conduct supplier assessments, attend supplier meetings/visits, maintain strong relationships via SBRs, collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, materials and quality teams, negotiate and manage contract administration (LTA/MSA), improve Supplier OTD, and support site inventory target management.
• Project Management (40%) : Ideate and execute project funnels, own Strategic Sourcing visual management (DVM), stay updated on emerging technologies/materials and best practices in pulp, resins, chemicals & plastics, monitor market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for innovation, cost savings and risk mitigation, partner with Supplier Quality to execute supplier qualifications (FAIR, PPAP, etc.), and optimize supply‑chain design to maximize material and inventory adherence.
• Customer Relationship Management (20%) : Collaborate with Ops, R&D, Engineering, Quality, Sales and Product Management; support external customers as necessary and drive on‑time delivery.
• Domestic/international travel will be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 3+ years’ experience in Sourcing, Purchasing or Supplier Relationship Management focused on key tech commodities.
• Strong knowledge of materials, processes, pricing dynamics and supplier landscape.
• Experience with pulp, resin, media, chemicals & plastics is a plus.
• Proven track record of negotiating contracts, reducing costs and improving supplier performance.
• Ability to travel 30% internationally.
