About the Role
The mission of the Student Experience team is to design, develop, and deliver impactful initiatives that enrich every aspect of students’ academic journey. We foster meaningful connections, empower students to grow personally and professionally, and ensure they remain engaged with CODE’s community long after graduation.
We do this across five pillars of student support : Student Support & Communication, Academic Success, Career Success & Personal Growth, Alumni Affairs & Lifelong Engagement, and Community & Wellbeing.
To organise the work, each Student Experience team member contributes to all Student Experience pillars while focusing on one phase of the student journey — Entry & Community, Learning & Growth, or Career & Connection.
These focus areas ensure that the team thoughtfully shapes, drives, and supports the full lifecycle of the student experience while maintaining a collaborative, generalist approach.
In addition to the general responsibilities, you will focus on supporting students throughout the Learning & Growth phase of their journey at CODE, ensuring they feel guided, connected, and supported during their academic development.
Advise and support students in organising their projects and structuring their learning during the Core and Synthesis semesters.
Provide clear communication and guidance around Core / Synthesis milestones, expectations, and project-related processes.
Prepare and maintain student-facing resources related to projects, semester structure, and academic workflows.
Collect and organise student and project-related data to support internal evaluation, planning and decision making.
Plan and implement events related to student projects and CORE semester (e.g. Kick off-Week, Demo and Expo Day).

We value your strengths and will support you in your professional development as well as provide fair compensation and some fun additions. Most importantly, joining CODE means being a part of a passionate team that is shaping the future of higher education. CODE aims to be a place where everyone feels able to be themselves and do their best in an inclusive and respectful working environment, and where all team members can thrive and reach their full potential. We want to attract, develop, and retain individuals with different experiences, backgrounds and perspectives – particularly people of color, LGBTQIA+ and those with disabilities. We value diverse backgrounds and believe they are integral to our growth and development as an institution.
