Our team develops and maintains software solutions in collaboration with international service providers to support business operations in the area of individual Life and Health reinsurance risks within the Hannover Re Group worldwide.

Role & Responsibilities

• Disciplinary leadership and professional development of the team IT BG Single Risk Solutions Life & Health
• Planning and management of the team’s budget and resources, including reporting
• Coordination of our external international service providers / implementation partners
• Management of IT / technical projects related to systems within the area of responsibility
• Responsibility for global support of the related business departments

Qualifications

• Several years of relevant professional experience in a global IT environment
• Practical experience in software development as well as in managing external service providers
• Experience in leading agile teams and sound knowledge of common project management methods
• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification
• Ideally, knowledge of the (re)insurance industry
• Business‑fluent English and conversational German for communication with colleagues and service providers worldwide
• Strong intercultural communication skills and enthusiasm for innovation, as well as enjoyment in leading agile teams
