Teamlead Strategic Procurement (m/f/d)

In the role of “Team Lead Strategic Procurement (m/f/d)” you will be responsible for leading a small international team in the strategic procurement of Services and Banknote Processing Systems. You ensure a high‑quality supplier management while taking cost, performance and risk aspects into account.

Your Responsibilities

• Professional leadership and development of the global, intercultural team for Strategic Procurement of the C‑segment systems and third party services
• Co-design and implementation of the global procurement strategy for third party services and the C‑segment
• Preparation and analysis of data and evaluations for regular reporting to management and stakeholders
• Implementation and execution of appropriate Key Account Management strategies with partners, suppliers and service providers
• Ensuring a stable supply chain and an optimal pricing basis with our suppliers
• Negotiation of existing and new procurement framework agreements and policies in cooperation with our legal experts, using existing portals for supplier development
• Maintaining strong supplier relationships with strategically important OEM and EMS suppliers, including risk management
• Assessing of market situations, leveraging both analog and digital networks, and exploring new approaches for the strategic development of your area of responsibility

Your Profile

• Completed academic degree, e.g., in Business Administration, Business Law, or Industrial Engineering or similar education
• Several years of experience in a global strategic procurement organization, with relevant professional expertise and methodological competence; ideally, procurement experience in the Asian market (i.e. China, India, Japan); occasional travel to our suppliers is required
• Initial experience in international team leadership, as well as leadership and methodological skills to manage an intercultural network
• Strong knowledge of MS Office applications and experience with relevant procurement tools such as iValua; knowledge of SAP would be desirable Highly analytical mindset and holistic, process‑oriented approach
• Confident demeanor combined with an empathetic and diplomatic approach
• Excellent communication skills with business‑fluent English and German, both spoken and written
