Test Architect (f/m/d) Railigent X - IoT Platform

Siemens Mobility – an independent business unit of Siemens AG, leading in mobility solutions for 160+ years.

As part of a central platform team, you will actively shape the future of Railigent X. You are responsible for developing data‑centric solutions, including preprocessing large data sets, providing APIs for data access, and designing and operating the required infrastructure.
You define and implement test architectures and create test concepts and specifications based on customer or internal requirements.
Design test cases and execute them. When deviations occur, you investigate, document, and resolve them.
Maintain and extend the existing test framework, evaluate new methods and technologies in test automation, and assess new approaches.

Completed university degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
Years of experience in system testing of complex software systems and agile methodologies (preferably SAFe).
Extensive experience testing cloud‑based applications and batch/stream‑processing pipelines (Kubernetes, AWS, Kafka).
Deep knowledge of efficient REST API testing in micro‑service architectures.
Proficient in Python and test automation (ideally Robot Framework); experience developing test frameworks and drivers.
Experience testing AI‑driven systems, especially Large Language Models and generative AI technologies, is an advantage.
ISTQB certification (e.g., Test Analyst, Test Automation Engineer) and, if possible, a Test Architect certification.
Strong German communication skills and fluency in English.
