Job Title: Verification Engineer (m/f/d) in the aerospace industry

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Preparation of test cases and procedures for validation, verification, and integration of systems, hardware, and software
• Execution of verification activities and preparation of verification summaries and test reports
• Preparation of system verification and system integration plans
• Scripting test automation schemes with using MATLAB/Simulink and Python
• Support development, deployment and maintenance of test benches, equipment and tools

Qualifications:

• University or technical college degree in the field of aerospace systems engineering, mechatronics, or similar
• 3+ years of professional experience in the field of development and verification within the aerospace industry
• Working knowledge of design and performance of verification scenarios according DO-178 Level A to Level D for real time embedded software
• Familiarity with aerospace standards RTCA DO-178, DO-254, DO-160
• Guidelines and software development life cycle (SDLC-V-Model)
• Knowledge of processes in accordance with ARP4754A, ARP4761
• Experience in development of requirements and the requirement reviews
• Experience in preparation and execution of systems verification and integration activities
• Proficient in performing Requirement Based HSIT, SIT, unit testing and manual code analysis
• Programming languages: Python (advanced), C (basic knowledge)
• Fluent English written and spoken, German is a plus
