Job Description

The Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) is a unique international program sponsored by the French Ministries of Europe and Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Ministry of Ecological Transition and Territorial Cohesion, open to Airbus to offer young professionals the opportunity to have valuable paid work experience abroad in a technical or business function.

The VIE is a specific contract, under Business France’s eligibility criteria.

VIE Main Requirements

• European Union citizens (plus Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Monaco), graduates up to and including 28 years old (a V.I.E mission can begin no later than the day of the twenty-ninth birthday)
• Have fulfilled military obligations for their country, if any
• Must be registered on the Mon Volontariat International website before the age of 28

The contract duration of VIE is between 6 to 24 months.

A VIE for a Geospatial AI Business Developer & Market Analyst has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Friedrichshafen at lake Constance. You will join the team of Geospatial Business.

As a Geospatial AI Business Developer & Strategic Marketing Analyst, under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our Geospatial AI‑driven business by supporting a business‑wide (Gen)AI strategic initiative accountable.

Tasks & Accountabilities

Your main tasks will include :

• Deliver Market Intelligence on AI driven Geospatial Mapping Solutions Market (competition, opportunities, trends…)
• Contribute to the Definition of the overall Business Strategy (vision, value proposition, positioning, business models…)
• Support Third‑party engagement activities (e.g. customers) & partnerships, consolidating the future sales pipeline.
• Support of the overall product definition, key features consolidating the different technology roadmaps

The position offers the possibility to act at the forefront of Geospatial Business innovation.

This role will involve potential travel for business up to several times per month in Europe and as such you must be able to travel accordingly.

Required Skills

You have the following skills and experience :

• Engineering Master’s degree in AI, Computer Science or Data Science
• Qualification and Experience Strategic Management, International Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience in strategy, marketing, business development, sales, or a related field
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders
• Experience with sales and marketing tools (Salesforce, Hubspot) and Google Suite
• Proactive and self‑motivated, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to analyze market trends and customer feedback
• Ability to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events
• Fluent English is a must. French and / or German would be a plus.

En tant que Développeur d'Affaires en IA Géospatiale et Analyste Stratégique en Marketing, vous jouerez un rôle critique dans la définition de l'avenir de notre entreprise axée sur l'IA Géospatiale en soutenant une initiative stratégique (Gen)IA à l'échelle de l'entreprise.

Missions et responsabilités

Vous serez en charge des activités principales suivantes :

• Fournir des informations sur le marché des solutions de cartographie géospatiale basées sur l'IA (concurrence, opportunités, tendances…)
• Contribuer à la définition de la stratégie d'entreprise globale (vision, proposition de valeur, positionnement, modèles d'affaires…)
• Soutenir les activités d'engagement avec des tiers (par exemple, les clients) et les partenariats, en consolidant le pipeline de ventes futur.
• Soutenir la définition de la définition globale du produit, des fonctionnalités clés en consolidant les différentes feuilles de route technologiques.

Le poste offre la possibilité d'agir à la pointe de l'innovation dans le domaine des affaires géospatiales.

Des déplacements professionnels sont potentiellement à prévoir jusqu’à plusieurs fois par mois en Europe et, de ce fait, vous devez être disposé(e) à vous déplacer en conséquence.

Compétences requises

Vous avez les expériences et les compétences suivantes :

• Diplôme de master en ingénierie en IA, informatique ou science des données
• Qualification et expérience en gestion stratégique, commerce international, marketing ou un domaine connexe
• Minimum de 1 à 2 ans d'expérience en stratégie, marketing, développement commercial, ventes ou un domaine connexe
• Expérience avec des outils de vente et de marketing (Salesforce, Hubspot) et la suite Google
• Excellentes compétences en communication et en relations interpersonnelles, avec la capacité de construire des relations et d'influencer les parties prenantes
• Proactif et autonome, avec la capacité de travailler de manière indépendante et en équipe
• Fortes compétences analytiques et de résolution des problèmes, avec la capacité d'analyser les tendances du marché et les retours des clients
• La maîtrise de l'anglais est indispensable. Le français et / ou l'allemand seraient un plus
