Working Student (f/m/d) Leveraging Generative AI along the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)

Aufgaben:

• You support the team in designing and developing generative AI solutions that enhance the software development lifecycle, leveraging your ongoing studies in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related AI/ML field.
• As you collaborate with senior AI developers, you assist in data collection, preprocessing, and analysis to ensure robust model training and validation.
• Building on this, you implement and optimize machine learning algorithms and models, applying your proficiency in Python and familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch.
• Subsequently, you participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to maintain the quality and reliability of AI-powered applications throughout the SDLC.
• Finally, you document code, processes, and results, facilitating knowledge sharing and contributing innovative ideas by staying updated on recent advancements in generative AI.

Qualifikation:

• Education: You are currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related field.
• Experience and Skills: You are proficient in Python; knowledge of Java or C++ is a plus. You have hands‑on experience with large language models, prompt engineering, vector databases, or fine‑tuning. You are familiar with popular machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and libraries like scikit‑learn.
• Ways of Working: You demonstrate strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
• Languages: You possess very good written and oral English skills (C1); German skills are an advantage.
