Systems Engineer Space Systems Studies

The role:


This role involves the technical and programmatic leadership of early-phase space mission and system design (phases 0/A/B1), with a focus on defining architectures, requirements, and documentation. It includes coordinating engineering activities within the tender team, managing interfaces across system elements, and working closely with internal experts and subcontractors. The role also covers system analyses, simulations, and trade-offs to balance quality, cost, and schedule, while sharing responsibility for overall system and satellite quality, risk, and verification planning.



What we want from you:

• Completed studies in aerospace engineering or a comparable field
• Professional experience in systems or satellite engineering or related areas
• Experience with or knowledge of national or European space sector clients
• Knowledge in mission requirements analysis, system performance, and system architecture
• Very good German and English skills, with strong self-organization and stress tolerance
