Team Lead (Power Electronics & BMS) - Chemnitz Area, Germany - Up to €90,000

Based in the Chemnitz area of the Sachsen region, an international and market-leader is offering an exciting Team Lead position.

Specializing in Power Electronics, this unique company develops and manufactures world-renowned and high-tech products for a variety of different industries. During this exciting time, they urgently require a Team Lead to lead their department and utilize their specialist skills to fuel the progression of the company.

Responsibilities

• Circuit design and layouts for power supplies (Up to 40kW) for battery charging products
• Provide technical coordination and alignment with internal teams as well as with customers
• Design, model, and simulate electronic circuits to meet functional and performance requirements
• Prepare test plans, Test systems contribute to approval processes, and support commissioning activities in collaboration with the Production Test department
• Coordinate tasks of Hardware Engineers, ensuring seamless cross-functional, inter-team collaboration (Embedded, Software, Testing, Production, etc.)
• Additional Project Management responsibilities, ensuring customer requirements are translated and delivered

Desired Skills and Experience

• Completed a degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or similar
• 5+ years experience in circuit design for Power Supplies, especially PFC circuits and it’s corresponding topologies
• Excellent knowledge of BMS, Power Supplies for battery charging, and Converters (up to 40kW)
• Experience and knowledge in 230V Electric Grid supplies
• Ideally, prior experience in a Lead or Team Lead position, managing HW developers
• Fluency in German is mandatory
