Team Lead Software Development – E-Mail (f/m/d)

We build and operate everything needed to receive and appropriately sort over 25,000 emails per second for our customers. Become part of the team that makes it happen:

• Lead with Impact : Take charge of both the technical and disciplinary leadership of our dynamic software development team, driving innovation in email reception and delivery.
• Collaborate Across Departments : Manage and coordinate requirements seamlessly with various departments, ensuring smooth and efficient operations company-wide.
• Stay Ahead of the Curve : Keep abreast of the latest developments in the email industry by attending regular conferences and proactively identifying and shaping technical innovations.

Your Profile

Are you an experienced Software Developer with a background in large, highly available distributed environments? Have you successfully demonstrated your leadership skills in challenging situations and are eager to lead a cross-functional team of E-Mail experts on an exciting journey? If so, we want to hear from you! For the best chances, you need:

• You thrive in leadership roles within a technically challenging environment, where your skills can truly shine.
• You enjoy collaborating seamlessly in cross-functional teams, managing diverse stakeholders and building valuable industry partnerships.
• You can showcase your expertise in email protocols and security (SMTP, DKIM, SPF, DMARC) and network protocols and security standards (SSL/TLS, DANE, MTA-STS).
• You bring your 5+ years of experience from an email service provider or similar security-focused company to make a real impact.
• You excel at innovating and scaling distributed systems with your hands-on experience and knowledge of resilient software architecture.
