Responsibilities
- Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you will manage and lead your region to drive adoption, improve patient outcomes and meet sales objectives.
- To work as part of a team to transition from a distributor model to a direct sales model.
- To hit budgeted sales growth.
- Implement national and regional strategies as defined by the National Sales Manager.
- Become a subject matter expert with an excellent understanding of infection and related issues.
- Identify strategic accounts and future clinical advocates.
- Define and implement a plan to set up key users, gather data for case studies, and work with surgeons to collect data they will present.
- Increase scope to Podiatry, Podiatric Surgery & Soft Tissue.
- Develop key surgeons, clinicians and hospitals into advocates willing to promote the technology to their peers.
- Capitalize on growth opportunities presented by current indications and wider regulatory clearances.
- Work in an ethical and compliant manner with high levels of integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with marketing and clinical/technical research teams to define product positioning and develop marketing materials.
- Identify potential sources of clinical data to support regulatory submissions and health economic cases.
Qualifications
- Background in orthopaedics, wound care, medical device or pharmaceutical territory management with proven budget achievement and sales growth.
- Driven, passionate, ethical and approachable.
- Willing to take ownership of the region and formulate a clear plan based on reasoned arguments.
- Ability to influence and persuade key HCPs (surgeons, clinical microbiologists, procurement, etc.).
- Naturally inquisitive, eager to learn and highly self-motivated.
- Resilient, tenacious and resourceful when faced with rejection.
- Comfortable presenting to groups of clinicians and supporting product use in an operating theatre environment.
