ERM, a global leader in sustainability consulting, is seeking a dynamic Germany-based Partner to grow our end-to-end service offering across the energy project lifecycle (from concept through financing, consenting, construction, O&M and decommissioning) in transmission and distribution.
Since established in 1989, ERM Germany has enjoyed steady growth and now employs over 150 people based across multiple locations. Our Capital Projects Delivery (CPD) team delivers technically challenging environmental and social impact studies (EIA’s and ESIA’s) for some of the largest infrastructure projects in Germany. This team has more than tripled in size over the past 15 years and works with a range of clients including domestic companies, large German and European banks, international lending organisations and corporate clients, supporting key decisions on project financing and green-field development investments.
As a Partner at ERM, you will drive our strategic direction and commercial growth within Germany and the surrounding regions (DACH). Your focus will be primarily on transmission infrastructure. Ideally you will have an understanding of energy transition projects within the German market.
Leveraging your extensive client relationships with TSOs and major energy clients (primarily developers and investors) and your deep understanding of the low carbon energy transition, you will develop and expand trusted client relationships, generate new business, and lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-impact sustainability-led solutions. These responsibilities reflect the dual commitments of driving growth and providing governance in project delivery.
To have full oversight of the life-cycle of our projects you will need to understand German planning laws, permitting regulations and environmental impact assessments.
This is a Partner opportunity. Our partnership model differentiates ERM by offering leaders in a global firm the opportunity to own and contribute to the direction and success of the company. Our model provides meaningful equity ownership with significant financial and intangible rewards.
We aim to build an inclusive culture by identifying, developing and retaining a highly skilled workforce reflective of the diverse global marketplace. If you share our values and passion for sustainability and are interested in this role, please submit your resume and a brief cover letter (in English) including salary expectations.
ERM does not accept recruiting agency resumes. Do not forward resumes to our jobs alias, ERM employees or any other location. ERM is not responsible for any fees related to unsolicited resumes.
