Account Executive – Central Europe (Solar & Energy Storage)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced, sales‑driven Account Executive with a strong background in the solar or energy storage sector across Central Europe and the DACH region.

This is a pivotal role supporting the company’s European expansion, focused on building and managing a high‑value sales pipeline with utility‑scale solar and BESS developers, Independent Power Producers, and strategic partners.

You will establish long‑term relationships, convert project‑based engagements into strategic accounts, and drive growth aligned with the company’s modular and scalable product roadmap. This opportunity is ideal for a commercially focused professional who understands the full solar and storage ecosystem and can translate technical complexity into compelling commercial value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve ambitious sales targets through a focused pipeline serving renewable energy project developers, asset owners and Independent Power Producers
  • Build and maintain strong partner relationships, delivering value‑driven EMS Edge and Cloud software solutions
  • Collaborate with Product, Product Marketing, Commercial Operations, Delivery and Sales Support to ensure partner requirements are met
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade fairs and conferences, including customer and partner presentations
  • Work with Marketing and Business Development to design and execute demand‑generation initiatives
  • Maintain accurate pipeline, opportunity and activity tracking within CRM and project systems
  • Progress assigned opportunities through the full sales cycle, coordinating stakeholder engagement end‑to‑end

Qualifications & Experience

  • Minimum 3 years' experience selling complex, high‑value technology or software solutions with long sales cycles
  • Demonstrated success engaging executive‑level decision‑makers and consistently exceeding quotas
  • Strong commercial judgement, negotiation skills and closing capability
  • Self‑driven, structured and comfortable working independently
  • Proven ability to forecast pipeline, deal timing and probability of close
  • Solid understanding of solar and energy storage business models - especially in the context of project developers and IPPs (preferred)
  • Background in business, engineering or a technical discipline (preferred)
  • Fluency in German and English is required
