Overview

Account Manager – Clinic (m/w/d) The role focuses on serving customers in the West Germany region (Ruhrgebiet, Münsterland, Düsseldorf) with a primary emphasis on sales and service in the medical diagnostics area. The position is based in Nürtingen near Stuttgart and is part of bioMérieux, a global company with a long-standing focus on scientific and technological innovations for diagnostic solutions and quality control in laboratories and industry.

Responsibilities

• Acquire new and manage existing customers in the ambulatory healthcare sector; advise competently and sell systems and reagents in microbiology, molecular biology, and immunology; prepare the market for new product solutions.
• Maintain regular contact with laboratories, physicians, and clinics; define individual customer strategies for patient-related in vitro diagnostics at emergency departments, private laboratories, medical care centers, and practice clinics.
• Participate in trade fairs and symposia; work continuously with the CRM system; regularly report for your territory.

Qualifications

• Motivation to contribute energy and creativity; drive the vision of improved healthcare delivery in the fight against infectious diseases.
• Seek a professional perspective with development potential; team player who collaborates across departments (Sales, Service, Medical Affairs, Marketing).
• Strong communication and customer orientation; build and maintain sustainable relationships with customers and regional/national opinion leaders.
• Degree in a scientific field (e.g., Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology) or equivalently MTA with laboratory and/or sales experience; solid knowledge of modern in vitro diagnostics and willingness to learn our product range.
• Sales experience is beneficial, but the willingness to continuously develop is more important.
