We are currently seeking a dynamic and commercially driven Airfreight Business Development Manager to join a well-established international freight forwarding organisation in Germany. This is an exciting opportunity for a sales-focused logistics professional to play a key role in expanding global airfreight solutions for new customers.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new global freight forwarding customers seeking an innovative and reliable end-to-end logistics partner
• Proactively generate new business opportunities through market research, networking, and client outreach
• Organise and conduct client visits, follow-ups, and sales calls independently
• Build, manage, and maintain a strong sales pipeline of qualified opportunities
• Create tailored proposals and present airfreight and transport management solutions to prospective clients
• Manage the full sales cycle for owned clients, from lead generation through to onboarding
• Represent and sell airfreight services in a compelling, customer-focused, and sustainable manner
• Accurately report leads, sales activities, and opportunities in the CRM system
• Promote sustainable transport solutions while adhering to corporate sustainability, compliance, and integrity standards

Requirements

• Minimum 2–3 years’ experience in international freight forwarding (airfreight experience preferred)
• Strong communication and presentation skills in English and German (written and verbal)
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable working with CRM systems
• Outgoing, customer-oriented personality with a consultative sales approach
• Highly motivated, persistent, innovative, and results-driven
• Hands-on mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Valid work permit for Germany is required
