Business Development Manager - Amazon and Ecommerce Accelerator

Reporting to: Chief Growth Officer

Location: Flexible (with European travel)

We are working with a leading European eCommerce accelerator that helps global brands expand internationally while delivering locally. The business buys stock, manages marketplaces, and fulfils directly to consumers across multiple European markets, giving partners greater control, reach, and data-led growth.

As the organisation continues its rapid expansion, they are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new partner acquisition, support early-stage growth, and act as a brand ambassador across Europe. Reporting directly to the Chief Growth Officer, this is a high-impact, commercially focused role with significant autonomy.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible position at the heart of the growth strategy. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and converting new partnerships, shaping first impressions, and ensuring a smooth transition from prospect to live partner.

Working closely with senior leadership and local market teams, the role suits someone who thrives in fast-moving environments, enjoys building relationships, and takes ownership of outcomes.

What You’ll Do

Business Development & Growth

  • Identify, engage, and convert new scalable brand partnerships across Europe
  • Build and manage a strong prospect pipeline through outreach, events, and inbound opportunities
  • Deliver against growth KPIs, qualified leads, and partner revenue targets

Partner Onboarding & Execution

  • Lead early-stage partner onboarding (0–6 months), working hands-on with local teams
  • Coordinate setup across SKUs, channels, ordering, and reporting
  • Ensure partners are successfully launched and positioned for scale

Market Presence & Thought Leadership

  • Represent the business at industry events, trade fairs, and networking opportunities
  • Support thought leadership initiatives including case studies, content, and PR activity
  • Act as a clear and credible ambassador for the organisation’s proposition
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline management, and forecasting
  • Provide clear visibility on deal progress, risks, and opportunities

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in business development or sales within eCommerce, FMCG, or marketplace environments
  • Strong commercial acumen with a track record of delivering growth targets
  • Excellent communication, networking, and presentation skills
  • Highly organised and comfortable managing multiple opportunities simultaneously
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and pipeline management
  • Experience working across European markets
  • Additional language skills
  • Background in high-growth or scale-up businesses
