International Conference of Dalcroze Studies (ICDS) – Researching into music and movement, in education, the arts and humanities, and the social, health and life sciences.

Dear Colleagues, We invite applications for the ICDS Scientific Committee Student Member. This role is designed for a student researcher in Dalcroze studies or a related field to gain valuable experience of conference organisation and leadership.

The expectations of the role are:

• attendance at online Scientific Committee meetings; these last up to 1.5 hours and there are around 10 per year
• participation in the peer review process
• contribution to Scientific Committee business via email, as appropriate
• opportunity to join one of the sub-committees (optional)
• two-year membership, i.e., one conference cycle

The role will begin in March 2026.

A student researcher here is typically pursuing either a research Masters or Doctoral degree, or advanced Dalcroze certification, with an interest in pursuing a research career.
