We have the pleasure to assist a growing law firm that is well established in several countries , and that has been present in Luxembourg for quite a few years now. As they have built a good name for themselves, which has led to their client portfolio growing, they are now looking for an Associate Corporate M&A.

Their Luxembourgish office is led by highly experienced partners, who have allowed the firm to develop a high level client base in the country and also to provide a top-notch and multidisciplinary service in Corporate law, tax law, investment funds, banking & finance and so on. 

This law firm is represented by several hundreds of lawyers on an international scale, which is quite reassuring if you are looking for a firm that offers stability and the opportunity to be part of a network. Furthermore, the law firm’s size in Luxembourg is still quite human as there are a few dozen collaborators, so you can get to know your colleagues and work closely together.

Your Responsibilities | Associate Corporate – Legal – Law Firm – Avocat - Corporate

• You will be in charge of assisting your clients, and advising them, on transactions (e.g. mergers, acquisitions, restructurings,, liquidations…) in close collaboration with the Partner.
• You will draft legal documentation such as articles of incorporation, transactional documents and so on.
• Remaining up to date with all evolutions in terms of corporate law is an integral part of your function as this allows you to maintain the high standards of service of the law firm.
• You will work with clients from across the globe, meaning that you will have exposure to a wide variety of cases.
  

Profile and Career Path | Associate Corporate – Legal – Law Firm – Avocat - Corporate

• We are looking for candidates who have a previous experience in law firms in Luxembourg for at least 2 years , within the Corporate law department. It is also necessary for you to be registered at the Luxembourg Bar or another EU Bar.
• Experience acquired in an international law firm is an additional plus, though you will not have the same inconveniences here as you might find in some of the largest global firms for example.
• You are motivated to learn and to have a certain complexity in your files, ensuring you feel intellectually stimulated at all times.
• We are looking for associates who have a good command of English and French, so you can have a good autonomy in your day-to-day missions and contacts with clients.
• Open-mindedness, communication and organizational skills are qualities requested by the law firm. They want their lawyers to identify to, and respect, their corporate values to ensure a healthy workplace.

• The offices’ location of the firm is ideal, whether you are a cross-border worker or a Luxembourgish resident as you will be close to the train station, bus stops and ample parking possibilities.
• This law firm is willing to offer you a salary that could reach an annual gross amount of € 110.000 , depending on your prior experience. You will also be offered an annual bonus, in line with your investment and results of the year.
• By joining this law firm, you will have the opportunity to benefit from flexible internal policies (two days of work from home per week) and billable hours below the market average, ensuring you can combine your profession with a very healthy work/life balance .
