Key responsibilities

Analyse business requirements, functional specifications, and technical documents to design comprehensive test cases and automation scripts tailored to core banking modules such as account management, payments, loans, and compliance
Develop, maintain, and enhance automation frameworks using industry‑standard tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, TestNG, JUnit) to support regression, performance, and integration testing
Execute automated test suites across core banking platforms, ensuring high test coverage and early detection of defects
Log, track, and retest defects using tools like JIRA or Bugzilla, collaborating closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to ensure timely resolution
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo, enabling frequent code deployments and faster feedback cycles

Job requirements

Expertise in automation tools (e.g., Selenium WebDriver, QTP/UFT), scripting languages (Java, Python, VBScript), and database technologies (SQL, Oracle)
Strong understanding of core banking processes, products, and regulatory frameworks in India (e.g., NEFT/RTGS, KYC, CBS integration)
Ability to interpret requirements, design test scenarios, and troubleshoot complex issues effectively
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for working with developers, business users, and compliance teams
Precise approach to scripting, execution, and validation to ensure accuracy and completeness
