Beauty Development Project Manager (f/m/d) Maternity Leave Replacement

Deine Aufgaben

As Beauty Development Project Manager you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end product development process for our Nails & Makeup categories during a maternity leave cover until End 2027, ensuring that innovative products are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with gitti’s brand vision.

Specifically, you will:

• Lead the New Product Development (NPD) process for multiple products from stakeholder kick-off to launch, working closely with the Team Lead Beauty Development.
• Own and manage the project timelines and gateway process , ensuring all milestones are met within the agreed timeframe.
• Coordinate closely with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Creative, Operations, Regulatory and Supply Chain as well as external partners such as laboratories and suppliers.
• Manage the tracking, distribution, testing and evaluation of product samples from laboratories and ensure structured feedback collection from internal stakeholders and external testers (e.g. influencers, community).
• Ensure accurate documentation of key product development decisions including formula actives, packaging, and design specifications.
• Own and continuously improve the sample management system, product library, and office stock in our Berlin office.
• Coordinate the artwork and packaging development process for new products and product updates in collaboration with Regulatory and Creative teams.
• Contribute to the development of innovative product ideas through trend research, trade fairs, social media insights, competitor analysis and customer feedback.
• Support business case development , including pricing strategy, competitor benchmarking and market positioning.
• Proactively identify opportunities to optimize processes and improve cross-functional collaboration throughout the product development lifecycle.

Dein Profil

• You hold a degree in business administration, project management, economics or a related field.
• You have at least 2 years of professional experience in project management, ideally in the beauty, cosmetics, FMCG or a fast-paced consumer brand environment.
• You have a strong understanding of product development processes and project management methods.
• You are highly organized, structured and detail-oriented, with strong planning and prioritization skills.
• You have excellent communication skills, both internally and with external partners.
• You have passion for beauty products and affinity to fashion/beauty trends.
• You can quickly familiarize yourself with various complex topics and work in a well-organized, structured manner.
• You think in opportunities instead of challenges and have a hands‑on attitude to execute new projects.
• You have a positive and open personality and love to work in a team.
• You speak German and English fluently, other languages are more than welcome.
• You are willing to work from the office in Berlin for 3 days a week.
• You are willing to also take over administrative and operational tasks.
