Qualifications

• Associate degree in biomedical equipment technology or 3 years of relevant experience
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Understanding of electronics, regulations, and technical data interpretation
• Maintenance, repair, and testing of biomedical equipment, problem-solving, and computer skills
• Moderate physical effort, color vision test passing, and ability to work in various environments

Duties

• Perform scheduled and unscheduled services, including inspections, maintenance, repairs, and testing of medical equipment
• Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and equipment updates
• Inspect and test malfunctioning equipment, disassemble, repair, and replace defective parts
• Conduct preventive maintenance and service as per manufacturer specifications
• Test, evaluate, and classify medical equipment for serviceability and disposition
• Ensure proper use of equipment to protect patients and staff from hazards
• Stay updated through technical manuals and training sessions
