About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven and brand-focused Brand Activation Manager to represent Veterano within the On-Trade channel in North-West Germany.
This is a field-based role combining sales excellence, brand activation, and event execution , with strong visibility across bars, clubs, festivals, and regional events.
You will play a key role in making Veterano a reference pouring spirit , increasing awareness, rotation, and recruitment of young consumers in the region.
- Ideally current or former On-Trade /Events sales representative for Spirits or other beverage brands.
- Strong experience in events and on-trade environments (mass-market & local)
- Solid understanding of wholesale structures and cooperative market execution
- Excellent knowledge of defined Core & recruitment region and its on-trade accounts and event/festival formats.
- Strong command of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
- Secondary school degree (“Mittlere Reife”)
Objective: Transform Veterano into a pouring spirit in bars and nightclubs.
Key Tasks:
- Build strong relationships with wholesalers and field teams
- Conduct joint visits to increase brand priority
- Identify high-potential bars and clubs
- Negotiate:
- Pouring agreements
- Menu activations (e.g., Drink of the Month)
- Visibility & recommendations
- Generate multiplier effect in awareness and Off-Trade turnover
Objective: create brand awareness at rotation by participating with Veterano at festivals and local parties.
Key Tasks:
- Activate the wholesaler network to identify relevant parties.
- Contact local organizers
- Visibility
- Tastings
- Raffles
- RTD sampling
- Deliver structured post-event reporting:
- Action items
- Performance by wholesaler
Objective: Maximize ROI from 13 large-scale events (150,000 consumers).
Key Tasks:
- Ensure flawless on-site execution
- Staff training (20 people / 4–6 bars per event)
- Execute RTD sampling strategy
- Deliver post-event KPI reporting
- Strong brand ambassador mindset with confident presence in gastronomy and event environments
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Team-oriented and collaborative in distributor partnerships
- Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and performance-oriented
- Flexible and resilient (evening/weekend availability, seasonal peaks)
