Business Analyst, Growth Marketing

We are currently looking for a Marketing Business Intelligence Analyst to support the Middle East Marketing organization.

In this role you will be expected to work with marketing team leaders across both online and offline channels to understand the problems they need to solve and design the appropriate solution. You will work closely with our marketing and finance leaders to leverage your expertise in order to guide our traffic investment strategy as well as customer growth strategy. You will need to partner with product and tech to unify our data sources, implement solutions to enable data collection and flow in order to produce 360 degree view of our traffic, customers and overall business as well as analyze the results and form strategic opinions. Often times, the ideal set of data will not be available and you'll have to think creatively about what is available and what you can do in order to drive results. You will make the best of your skillset in business, marketing, finance, simulation and business intelligence to explain, quantify, predict and prescribe. You will know how to translate business and financial goals into agile, insightful analytics. You will also seek to create value for both stakeholders and customers, and will convey findings in a clear, actionable way to managers and senior leaders.

Key job responsibilities

• Understand the business challenges faced by Marketing team, derive actionable insights and concise recommendations
• Build the capabilities for how we integrate science/analytics into marketing planning processes, build site strategy to drive highest return on marketing investment
• Leverage customer data to increase the efficiency of our marketing spend working closely with the channel teams on campaign optimization
• Design and conduct rigorous experiments on the effectiveness and efficiency of different marketing actions that will inform long term strategy
• Continually improve ongoing reporting and analysis processes, automating or simplifying self-service support for secondary datasets, updating existing metrics as well as create new metrics
• Educate, inform, and drive business decisions by connecting your analysis through the lens of financial performance
• Report results in a manner which is both statistically rigorous and compellingly relevant
• Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards, etc. to drive key business decisions
• Drive operational excellence for data ingestion, transformation and publication to ensure confidence in the metrics we publish
• Recognize and adopt best practices in reporting and analysis: data integrity, test design, analysis, validation, and documentation
• Tune complex query performance using profiling tools and SQL
• Triage many possible courses of action in a high-ambiguity environment, making use of both quantitative analysis and business judgment

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 3+ years of business or financial analysis experience
• Experience with SQL
• Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
• Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
• 5+ years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience manipulating large sets of data, summarizing into metrics, and conducting appropriate statistical tests (e.g., regression, t-test, chi-square)
