Business Analyst – KYC Division

The Know-Your-Customer (KYC) division is at the forefront of maintaining global IT systems, processes, and procedures utilized in conducting KYC processes and related supporting functions for Commerzbank. Our mission is to empower the organization to identify and mitigate risks effectively, while ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for our customers and internal users.

Joining our motivated and diverse team distributed across Prague and Frankfurt, you will play a pivotal role in transforming innovative ideas into actionable solutions, balancing technical expertise with stakeholder collaboration. As a Business Analyst, you will actively contribute to the requirement analysis, design, and E2E development and implementation lifecycle. You will also play a crucial role in addressing dependency management outside your assigned cell while leading workstreams or deputizing for the Product Owner in stakeholder and backlog management.

Your tasks

• Analyze and break down large-scale requirements to deliver practical and innovative IT and AI solutions within an agile framework.
• Design, develop, and implement scalable IT systems while integrating services and APIs based on best practices (e.g., Swagger understanding).
• Build customer-oriented IT and AI solutions within KYC, AML/CTF environments, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.
• Collaborate confidently with international stakeholders, managing scope, dependencies, and deadlines effectively, in fluent English.
• Lead and work alongside teams with strong empathy, communication, and problem-solving skills, inspiring team members to achieve objectives.
• Conduct thorough data analysis utilizing SQL/BigQuery and assess business impacts to optimize decision-making and solution success.
• Advocate for and champion agile working methods, contributing to a collaborative and adaptive work atmosphere.

Your profile

• Proven expertise in delivering large-scale requirements and projects within agile organizations.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing IT systems, with comprehensive knowledge of service integration, Swagger, and API design best practices.
• KYC or AML/CTF domain expertise, showcasing a solid understanding of customer-focused and regulatory requirements.
• Leadership experience, with demonstrated ability to guide and empower teams in achieving shared goals.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with confidence in engaging international colleagues and stakeholders.
• Problem-solving mindset, coupled with adaptability to thrive in dynamic environments.
• Collaboration and communication excellence, reflecting empathy and effectiveness in team settings.
• Strong understanding of agile principles and the ability to implement them successfully.
