We are working with a well-established European industrial solutions company that has supported manufacturers and logistics organisations for over 50 years. Their solutions improve workflow visibility, material flow, and operational efficiency across production, warehouse, and supply chain environments. Due to continued growth in Germany, they are looking to hire a Junior Business Development Representative (German Speaking) to support new business development and contribute to revenue growth within the industrial sector. This is a field-based role, ideal for someone with a strong hunter mindset who is keen to build a career in sales, develop client relationships, and gain hands‑on experience in industrial solutions.

The Role

New Business Growth

  • Identify and target new business opportunities within manufacturing and logistics environments (industrial + IoT / smart manufacturing)
  • Support outreach activities including site visits, networking, and lead generation
  • Build relationships with prospective customers and key stakeholders
  • Contribute to developing and maintaining a strong sales pipeline
  • Maintain and update CRM systems with accurate customer and opportunity data
  • Support pipeline tracking, reporting, and forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal teams across sales, marketing, and operations

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a motivated individual who is keen to build a career in business development within industrial + IoT / smart manufacturing.

  • Fluency in German
  • A degree in Business, Sales, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
  • A valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel
